A Star Studded Missguided Dress

For years I've stuck to a lot of the same kinds of style dresses, mostly fit and flare or skater styles but when I saw this dress it was so me I had to have it.

I haven't owned a wrap dress in years, and I'm telling you now I'm not making that mistake again! When I first tried this on I wasn't sure about whether I liked it on me as it's quite open at the top, the material doesn't really compensate for a larger bust in this case but with an added black vest top (a primark one at £3) underneath it was a quick fix.
The sizing of this dress (other than the small bust issue) is great, I ordered my usual size and it fits really well and flows nicely.

I wore this dress for the first time with a pair of anti chafing shorts underneath to prevent chafing and in case of any breeze that may cause some immodest moments, I'd prefer not to show my pants to everyone in the Wildlife Conservation Park - since a lot of the people there were kids too!
The wrap design ties nicely under my bust and flows out giving the appearance of a slightly more hourglass figure but what I like most is the sleeves, with 3/4 sleeves I felt happy to walk around the Wildlife park all day without a cardigan because now the weather is brightening up it kept me warm enough but the material was breathable too.

When I picked this dress up it was on Missguided at £3, I couldn't miss out on something like that, now I only wish I'd ordered a couple of them. All I really know is that I'm a convert.

I decided to style this dress with bare legs to show off my ankle tattoo, my lovely f&f silver loafers, this moon and star necklace that I picked up in New Look and my Primark heart shaped sunglasses. Unfortunately the loafers are from last Summer, but the necklace was a recent purchase and so were the sunglasses. I love these sunny days where you don't need tons of layers to be comfortable and sunglasses are as much a hair accessory as they are for your eyes.
I've also worn this dress with my Sketchers wedge sandals which looked great with it for a night out, it really is a versatile piece and I've been complimented on the 'witchy' vibes it gives - a friend even calling me 'Sabrina the Teenage Witch' in a nice way of course.

I thought the little white rabbit bag added a nice whimsical touch to the outfit, I was feeling the witchy vibes from the dress and the bag added something a little quirky too. It was a Primark find and really cheap for a Disney piece. I also picked up the 'Alice in Wonderland' inspired purses too which have got a little spot decorating my living room since it's one of my all time favourite films, though I love anything Disney pretty much.
I can't wait to wear this dress more all Summer long and layer it up into the Autumn too when there's a little more of a chill, it will be great for casual days and to dress up for a night out with heels/wedges and a nice clutch. Styled with a red lip this is going to be a go to for me, it's so effortless but stylish and I love that.
Revolution Pro red lipstick and foundation. Eyeliner is Elf, Makeup Revolution eyeshadow & blusher.

All these photos were taken at Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park, it's a really great experience with lots of very cute animals to see and tons to learn. It's a good day out for adults and children alike and the ice cream is very good at the café! It's such a beautiful and well kept place with keepers who care for the animals. I definitely recommend a visit.  (Not sponsored, just think it's a beautiful place with some amazing animals to see)
