Escape Live Birmingham - is it worth the hype?

Recently I visited Escape Live with Bumble BFF thanks to xAmeliax who organises some great things for us to do in and around Birmingham on a regular basis, plus it's always a great opportunity to meet with friends and make new ones too.
Escape Live has 4 rooms to choose from - Dr Wilson's Office, Room 13, The Lab and Time Machine. At between £15 and £16 for a fun hour solving puzzles, finding keys and problem solving it's well worth a visit! You have an hour to escape the room. Don't panic though, with the clues in the room there is also the facility to phone outside the room and receive further clues if you do really get stuck.

On this visit I explored Dr Wilson's Office with a group to try and escape within the hour, I won't say too much but the experience was fun, it promoted lots of team work and we managed to get our within the hour! With 14 minutes to spare we were out and were chuffed. Dr Wilson's Office probably wouldn't have been my first choice, but it surprised me and was far better than I expected with lots of mystery to discover.

I'd definitely recommend a visit to the Escape Rooms and I will be returning to complete at least a couple of the other rooms. The Lab and Room 13 both look excellent and I love a good horror theme - Room 13 has this in spades.

To preserve mystery (and to adhere to the rules of Escape Live as well as not spoiling it for anyone) there are no photographs from inside, you will have to use your imaginations - also the Escape Live website provides further details on each room.
